Close your eyes. The Suzuka mountains guard Ise-Iga's backcountry, and old cedar trails thread through them like memory.
You stand before Tsubaki Ōkami Yashiro — the shrine of the great guide-god of the mountain path.
Breathe in. Camellia and cedar scent the air.
Mythos
Sarutahiko-Ōkami — the guide of the gods, the one who stood at the heavenly crossroads and showed the descending deities the way to the earth.
If you feel lost at a crossroads — between careers, relationships, countries — Sarutahiko is your deity.
He does not choose your path. He makes the crossroads visible, so you can choose with clarity.
Tsubaki whispers: the lost are not lost. They are simply at the crossroads, gathering information.
Sacred Resonance
Find the old stone path leading to the inner sanctuary.
Take one step. Notice which direction your body leans.
Take another. Your body always knows the way before your mind catches up.
Sarutahiko speaks through your feet before he speaks through your thoughts.
Tailwind Blessing
Bow. Clap twice — clear as a signpost. Bow.
Leave. Step out onto the forested road, wind at your back.
The Suzuka wind meets you — Divine Tailwind, guiding, certain.
Every breath is a choice made cleanly.
Walk on, guided one. The path is visible now.

II
A three-minute journey, not a tour
This page is designed as a quiet pilgrimage. Read slowly. Breathe. Let the place find you before you arrive.
III
Offline pocket guide
Save this page. Read it on the train, at the torii, or on the path home. No login. No ads. No noise.
Etiquette
Bow once before passing under the torii
The torii marks the threshold between the everyday world and the sacred. A small bow acknowledges the crossing.
Purify at the temizuya (water pavilion)
Left hand, then right, then rinse your mouth from the left, then cleanse the handle. One ladle of water carries you through all four motions.
At the main hall: two bows, two claps, one bow
Deep bow twice, clap twice with intention, offer your silent greeting, then one final deep bow. No coin is required.
Leave quietly. Let the shrine follow you out
A pilgrimage does not end at the gate. The stillness travels with you.
